I fell in love with photography after buying my first camera during high school. As I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communications and Photography, I discovered that photography is more than just an image. It is an experience meant to evoke emotion or thought.
Over the years, I have enjoyed working with advertising agencies, marketing firms, real estate agencies and many business owners throughout Michigan and Germany. When I look back at all the experiences photography has given me from photographing the insides of factories, million-dollar homes, rock and roll bands and celebrities, food and products, plus hundreds of people all with their own stories to tell, I am amazed at where my photography has taken me.
Travel is one of my favorite things to do. Without sounding like a Star Trek nerd, I like to explore new places, to go boldly where no man has gone before. Ok, not exactly true but you get the idea.
I always have a camera in my hand whether for a client, as a mom or even for my own artistic expression. My family thinks I’m a little crazy, but I think the same of them. Life is always full with my husband and 3, pretty much, adult kids and our 2 rescue dogs.
